April is a fourth-year doctoral student in the clinical area and is advised by Dr. Elliot Berkman in the SAN Lab. She is currently developing, implementing and evaluating translational mobile and SMS-delivered patient adherence tools grounded in motivation neuroscience. April is particularly interested in utilizing an implementation science approach to scale impact of SAN Lab’s perinatal health promotion interventions across federally disseminated maternal child health programs. In addition, April is engaged in multiple cultural adaptation projects to ensure equitable delivery of SAN Lab’s health promotion interventions.
